European Survey on Journalists and Digital Technology

European Survey on Journalists and Digital Technology

The European survey "Journalists and Digital Technology: A survey on new skills and training needs" is carried out in the frame of the European project Media Hackers (Making digital competences an advantage for journalists), and its main purpose is to get an inside view of the new skills and training needs required by journalists in adapting to the rapidly transforming media landscape, namely in the sectors of IT and New Media.

A few minutes is all it takes to answer the survey questionnaire (available in English, Greek and Romanian languages) and record the actual training needs of Journalists.

The survey results will be utilized in preparing a flexible and basic training programme for journalists in new media, digital tools and applications. Furthermore, the answers will reflect the diverse perspectives of working journalists in Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, and Romania.
